When you play Angel Egg pinball game, you'll
know that people who know about pinball games made it! Developed
by Cecraft, Angel Egg is the third installment of Cecraft
pinball series (Dark Paladin and Young Paladin being the
other two) with dynamic ball movement, realistic feeling
of the table and a creative story. The story of the Angel
Egg is to help God create the Earth. The players must summon
the seven Archangels (Michael, Gabriel, Raguel, Raphael,
Uriel, Sariel and Akrasiel) by collecting the angels' eggs;
and invoke the Spirits of Fire, Water, Earth and Wind.
The game play is a lot fun because of the
smooth control and multi-ball action. The game control is
one of the best features in this game. It's not only smooth,
but you can do some real tricks that you've learned in the
arcade: For example, you can nudge the table and make it
move; or do tricks with your flippers like dead flipper bounces,
pass flips, deflection-post transfers, holding lifts, and
trapping the ball (read the game manual, it will tell you
all about these moves). You can get multiple balls on the
table by either invoking the Spirits or summon the Archangels.
The longer you keep the multiple balls alive on the table,
the higher score you will be. Have you ever played 7 balls
at the same time? How long do your think you can last? While
you juggling all those balls, don't forget that you have
missions to accomplish: collecting eggs, hatching eggs, summoning
archangels, invoking the spirits and finally completing Genesis.
Each of the missions has some tricky spots or jackpot holes
you must hit. Of course, if you are good at playing pinball,
you can also earn free balls during your long journey. The
pinball table design gives you the feeling of a real pinball
table with its multi-layer setup that utilizes every inch
of the table, and the windy ramps that lead you to surprises.
When you start playing, you will discover more hidden treasures
and paths.
Angel Egg has some really sweet sound effects
and music tracks. There are 2 background music selections
and over 100 special sound effects. No doubt, this also adds
to that magic feel of a real pinball table. There is an option
for you to turn the sound/music off as well.
The Cecraft folks are serious about their
pinball games. They give you a 36-page pdf manual along with
the game to make sure you complete your missions. If you
are a novice and want to learn the game of pinball, read
this manual and practice with this game. If you're a pinball
master, you'll prove it by handling multiple ball play and
completing linear missions. After all, the high score board
on the Cecraft site might just have a space for your name!
The game is a little over 2MB with keyboard
support. You can run the game off the CF card without any
slow down.
