If you've ever gone to a video arcade once
in your life, you've seen Siberian Strike there. This wildly
popular flight-shooter game is now available for your Palm.
Developed by Ludi Games, Siberian Strike copied the original
arcade game including 7 long levels and end level bosses,
while optimizing it for the Palm. Just like the arcade game,
you will have lots of actions like flying, shooting, collecting
medals, power ups and extra plans, etc. The graphics are
sharp; controls are very smooth for hard key and stylus,
full sound effects.
Playing Hints and Tips
Choose your fighers well: I find
that based on the mission and enemies in each level, finding
the most suitable fighter is the key to success. For the
fast flying and small fighter enemy levels, Me163 is your
best choice. Originating from the old Komet, Me163 is the
fastest fighter and the easiest to maneuver with decent
fire power and defensive shields. For the combo enemies
of both small fighters and small ground targets, Me109
might be the best choice. Originally designed by Messerschmitt,
Me109 is one of the most famous fighters with very good
maneuvering ability combining with very good firepower.
So you can use the Me109 to dance with the enemy fighters
and take out carrier ships or ground targets at the same
time. For the most heavily guarded ground target, you should
use Do17Z, which has the most powerful weapons in the fleet.
Iceberg madness: It takes a while to get
used to the Iceberg Slalom levels, all you need to do here is
to remember where the icebergs are and memorize the best route.
I just have one question, why am
I on the German side in this game?
