Psion Series 7
(discontinued)
This was Psion's
first color unit, and it's also the largest. The Series 7 is
about the same size as Windows CE Pro devices (smaller than a
subnotebook), with a 640x480 VGA display and near full-sized
keyboard. It's housed in a plastic case with a blue leather covering
(ah those Brits, chic!). Released in mid-October 1999 in the
UK, they're now available in the US. It runs the EPOC OS, and
includes organizer apps such as Psion Agenda and Contacts, Office
programs such as Psion Word and Sheet (spreadsheet), email and
fax software, and PsiWin docking software. Price?
~ 580 UK pounds, and ~ $899 US.

SA1100 133MhZ processor, 16 megs of RAM upgradable via a proprietary
plug in 16MB DIMM card, also expandable with Flash PCMCIA cards,

screen display. Pointer Touch screen digitizer and pen. Instant
access to built in and user defined applications using application
icons silkscreened on sides of display..
