Just had an idea.
you can get a bulky CF to PCMCIA adapter ( here ) and a PCMCIA USB hub ( here ) then could you use that as a CF to USB adapter?
I know it would be extremely bulky, but it would be a cheap (?30) alternative to the expensive (?90) CF to USB adapters.
What about drivers?
Do you need drivers for a USB hub?
I'm probably wrong, but the idea of plugging in a 40gb HD, card reader, keyboard and mouse is pretty cool.
