This is for a classroom application. The difficult decision is if Notebook and a tablet is a good choice or a tablet PC. We have looked at wacom cintiq model. looks good, gives a larger area to write than a tablet PC.

I am told that life of a tablet PC surface is much smaller as compared to the tablet. Does any body have an idea.

Certainly, in a class room environment it will be used for annotating the slides, write equation, draw figures. Cann't decide what would be a good choice.

Voice recognition is not a priority.
