Do you have an SC2xxx model? Our SC2010 had an Intel control panel applet that manages both the Intel wired 10/100 Ethernet and Intel WiFi controllers. Once I used that control panel to connect to our WiFi network (and unchecked the "allow Windows to manage this connection" box in the network settings under Windows) it automatically connected to our access point after each reboot. Though I did have to press the hardware WiFi button on the front bezel to re-enable WiFi from a cold boot.
