update, I did some checking on google, I read some reviews on AmazonUK (http://www.amazon.co.uk/PALM-T-X-HANDHELD-BLUETOOTH/dp/customer-reviews/B000BKBHJM)
many people have been experiencing the same problems that i have complaining that the quality of the build has fallen off.
I loved my T/X when it worked! if you have a older one working, treat it right.
