I have had the XV 6600 since last april and absolutely hated the phone, but loved the EV-DO service. Based on reviews of the XV6700 I have decided to upgrade and can't wait to get my phone. (It's actually at home now, but I won't be there until friday) I actually broke down and bought an EVDO PC card because I needed to be able to use the EVDO service and my phone at the same time. I changed my phone data plan to a per KB plan for those times when I don't want to whip the laptop out just to check my email. With Wi-fi support included I don't plan to use the cell phone data plan too often.
On a side note...Does anyone know if the XV6700 or Mobile 5 supports individual ring tones for contacts or is that feature still only from third party app's?
