I packed it all up.. .but am unpacking now!! Though I DID try it on it's side too. But will try again.

Haven't called nintendo yet -- am doing that soon. Will post back.

THAT SAID -- I thought the wiiMote was amazingly sensitive and even just navagating the menu system was a joy.

Anyway -- back to the box!

Nintendo was great about it... yup... bad mechanism. We'll send on out today!! Just send along the old one in the same box with the pre-pay label.
