XtremeMac has announced that its Luna alarm clock and audio system for iPod will be available worldwide beginning February. The unit currently retails for US$149.95 exclusively in North America via Apple stores and XtremeMac.com, but will soon be available through the company's worldwide network of distributors and resellers.
The only alarm clock for iPod to integrate an on-screen menu system, Luna lets you sleep and wake to your iPod or the radio, and also serves as a complete speaker system for home or office. Luna's patent-pending menu system provides user-friendly control over all of the alarm and audio functions. The settings are controlled by four large, multi-function knobs located on the top of the unit. These four simple controls eliminate the complexity of the myriad buttons typically found on an alarm clock. In addition, the unit can be controlled by the included wireless remote which features advanced audio and alarm functions. Luna features two independent alarms that offer customized source (iPod, radio or buzzer), volume, dimmer, and snooze time options. You can even select gradually increasing and decreasing volume for the alarms and sleep timer. The easy-to-read display features variable brightness control that can be turned completely off at night, unlike most alarm clocks that can keep you awake with their bright displays. In addition to being a customizable alarm clock, Luna is a complete audio system powered by two full-range speakers and a powerful two-channel amplifier. The AM/FM radio features four station presets. The built-in Universal dock well accommodates any iPod with a dock connector, and the unit ships with three dock well inserts that fit the most current iPod models. There is also an AUX-IN port for connecting audio devices without a dock connector such as the iPod shuffle, older iPod models or other MP3 players. ----------------------------------------------------- Read our 5G iPod Video review: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/iPod/iPod-video.htm Read our iPod nano review: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/iPod/iPod-nano.htm Read our reviews of iPod accessories: Altec Lansing inMotion iM7 Altec Lansing imMotion imMini iPod Speakers Bose SoundDock Speakers DLO iBoom Boombox Radian iBlast Speakers Ignitek iCruiser 430 Speakers i.Sound and i.Sound 4X Speakers i.Sound MAX Speaker System JBL on stage II Speakers Klipsch iGroove Speakers Logitech mm50 Speakers XtremeMac MicroBlast Speakers Etymotic ER-6i Isolator Earhphones v-moda Remix adn Bass Freq Headphones XtremeMac FS1 High Definition Earbuds AnyCom BluNa Bluetake i-Phono BT420EX Bluetooth Stereo Headset with Transmitter IOGEAR Bluetooth Stereo Headphone Kit with Transmitter Griffin iTrip and iTrip mini Neuros Recorder 2 Plus DLO HomeDock Deluxe Griffin iTalk Pro Stereo Microphone for iPod More News. . . |
