Nokia has inked a deal with CNN. News Corp and Sony Pictures to serve video to the Nokia N95 which has embedded links to these sources already. These new sources appear under Nokia Video Center on the N95. Other phone models will get support later. Interestingly, this is a direct deal, not video served up a la Verizon V Cast or ATT's Cingular Video service.

With the new Nokia N95-3 with US 3.5G on the market, this means those of us on this side of the pond can take part in the fun too

. Though for some reason only the Asia Pacific region gets CNN for now. We'll be posting our review of that new model soon-- we have it in house and improvements are notable.

The Nokia Video Center offers Nokia Nseries users one simple place to discover and access the best choice of mobile video content via 3G, WiFi or PC. Users can switch easily between a range of different video services choosing from branded on-demand video, internet video podcasts and their own favorite videos. The Nokia Video Center is available on the Nokia N95 and Nokia N95 8GB.

Versaly Entertainment, FAST LANE - The premier mobile video channel for the male lifestyle: through its video business unit Vmbc.tv, programming includes intense action sports, hilarious comedy, full contact fighting, the best mobile user-generated content, and much more!

CNN*, IBN**, Jamba and Sony Pictures will join YouTube and Reuters and will appear in the main menu of the Nokia Video Center. RooftopComedy, ROK and Versaly Entertainment will be found in the Internet Videos category of the menu.
