Gizmodo got their hands on some decent photos of what is supposedly the T-Mobile G2, made by HTC. It looks quite a bit like the T-Mobile G1, chin and all. But it's thinner and has a glossy finish. There's no hardware keyboard on this one, so we assume it will run the Cupcake branch of updates that adds an on-screen keyboard. We take this to be the real thing as it closely resembles the leaked image of the HTC Sapphire that appeared on PPC Geeks last week.

In their news item, Gizmodo is claiming the G2 will be out in May of this year.
