Alight Crackberry addicts, gather 'round: here's our video review of the new BlackBerry Curve 8520. The newest 'Berry is available in two colors, black and frost, and we say go for black since "frost" is more like flat battleship gray. The Curve 8520 is available on T-Mobile and it sells for $129, which is a little strange since the higher-end BlackBerry Curve 8900 now sells for only $20 more. The BlackBerry 8520 is quad band GSM with EDGE for data, has WiFi with UMA calling (T-Mobile's @Home service), runs on a 512MHz processor and has a QVGA display. It's two unique hardware features are the optical trackpad that replaces the usual BB trackball and hardware music playback controls on its top end. Here's our 7.5 minute video review of the Curve 8520. Our full written review will be here next week. Update: here is our full review of the BlackBerry Curve 8520: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/phones/BlackBerry-Curve-8520.htm - |
