iPhone Game Review: 20Q Mind Reader
Reviewed by Leah Jennings
Do you like the psychic world? Well, come on and delve into the mysterious powers of 20Q Mind Reader!
In classic 20Q mode, you think of an object, and then you pick the category it goes in. You can pick from Animal, Vegetable, Mineral, Other, and Unknown. After you pick the category, the game will ask you a series of questions that helps it narrow down its answer to what you?re thinking of. It usually guesses what you?re thinking in 20 questions or less, but sometimes has to go over 20 to accurately guess the correct answer. There?s a section called Bonus Features that includes a few extra games to play. There?s Anagram, in which you choose your category (Animal, Vegetable, Mineral, Other) and unscramble the word it gives you. You can unlock two games by playing Anagram. There are also two multiplayer games (one you have to unlock) which totals in 4 bonus games.
The graphics are very good in this game. Simple and classic, the background is blue with white orbs that flow at different speeds. It?s very calming and doesn?t distract you, like some background graphics can do, and fits the mode of the game.
The background music is like underground, classic piano with some synthesizers and horns mixed in. Very different, but goes well with the game. You can also listen to your iPod while playing.
If you are the classic 20Q game lover this is a great game to get into. It?s also a fun game to play with friends, or when you have some down time. It?s easy to just pick up and play.
