HP today released the HP Mini 311 series netbooks powered by Intel Atom N270/N280 processor with the NVIDIA ION LE graphics card. The netbook weighs 3.22 pounds, has an 11.6-inch HD display and 5-in-1 card reader. The HP Mini 311 netbooks start at $399.99. If you add built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11n to the N280 configuration, the netbook is about $475. It will also take a while for HP to ship the built-to-order for this model. If you built one today you will get it between the first and second week of October. There is also a very affordable external Blu-ray option with Lightscribe that costs $129.
