Video review: Droid X by Motorola on Verizon

The Droid X is Verizon's latest Android superphone and it gives every other Android smartphone on the market a run for its money. No, it doesn't have 4G but it does have fantastic build quality, a third generation 1GHz OMAP CPU, an excellent 8 megapixel camera and Verizon's strong network behind it. The Motorola Droid X is a slate design phone (no hardware keyboard) with a 4.3" capacitive multi-touch display and it runs Android 2.1 with some pleasing Motorola home screen enhancements.

Other features include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, WiFi sharing (it can act like a MiFi and share its 3G connection over WiFi with laptops, iPads, etc.) and DLNA support. The Droid X will be available on Verizon July 15 for $199 after a $100 rebate with a 2 year contract. Our full written review will be here later today or tomorrow.
