Video review: BlackBerry OS 6 on the Curve 3G for Verizon

A few days ago we posted our video review of the BlackBerry 3G 9330 on Verizon. We covered the stock phone that currently ships with the "been there, done that" BlackBerry OS 5.

Today we're taking a fresh look at the Curve 3G after loading a pre-release version of OS 6. That new OS, along with Verizon's incredibly low price, are the most salient features of the Curve 3G. RIM and the carrier will release OS 6.0 for the Curve 3G (hopefully this fall), so you'll be able to run the new OS on your phone eventually. In a nutshell: we like it; it's fast, more intuitive and modern. It's like throwing a little BlackBerry Torch into your Curve.

In the video we take a look at some of BlackBerry OS 6's most significant improvements: the home screen, new user interface, media players and web browser. We compare it with the Curve 3G 9300 on T-Mobile running OS 5 and the BlackBerry Torch running OS 6.
