Hands-On With the Samsung Infuse 4G Android Phone on AT&T

We got a first look at the upcoming Samsung Infuse 4G Android smartphone at CES. The Samsung Infuse 4G looks very slim in person and feels quite light for a large phone. The 4.5" display has Samsung's next generation Super AMOLED Plus technology, and it shows! The colors are even more vivid when compared with the current breed of Super AMOLED phones. At 4.5" the phone sits squarely between the 5" dell Streak and the 4" Samsung Captivate in terms of size, and we'd say the phone is large but manageable (at least for those of you who find the HTC EVO 4G and HTC HD7 comfy.

The Samsung Infuse 4G runs on Google Android v2.2 Froyo and Samsung's TouchWiz 3.0 on top. Sorry, no Gingerbread here. The phone is powered by Samsung's next generation 1.2GHz application processor. The phone feels fast.

AT&T announced the Samsung Infuse 4G as an exclusive offer, but no price info yet. The phone is expected to come some time in Q2.

Here are some photos of the Samsung Infuse 4G, there are no pictures of the back of the phone because it's not yet finalized.
