Dell Streak 7 Video Review

Sorry it took us so long to get this one out guys and gals, but last week's wicked storms resulted in FedEx holding our Dell Streak 7 review unit hostage behind icy doors for a crazy 4 days. The Streak 7 is available now on T-Mobile for $199 with contract, the same price as a high end smartphone. That sounds mighty tempting for a 7" Android OS 2.2 Froyo tablet with a Tegra 2 dual core 1GHz CPU and 4G HSPA+.

Alas, the 800 x 480 capacitive display is pretty poor and that really curbs our love for the Streak 7, especially when you can get the lovely Samsung Galaxy Tab for just $50 more with contract.

The Dell Streak 7 has the usual goodies you'd expect from a well-spec-ed tablet: front and rear cameras, WiFi, Bluetooth and a GPS that works with Google Maps and Navigation. Speed rocks and the Streak 7 doesn't stumble, bumble or lag. It's certainly a step up from budget Android tablets like the Nextbook, Huawei sold at Best Buy.

Here's our video review of the Dell Streak 7, and our full written review will be out in a day or two.
