Motorola has tweeted that there's an "update rolling out in phases starting tonight and includes required enhancements to support upcoming Adobe Flash Player 10.2" for the Motorola Xoom Android Honeycomb tablet. When the product started shipping 10 days ago, it shipped without Adobe Flash, but Motorola and Adobe said it would only be a few weeks. Looks like things are on track, we can't wait to try out full Flash on our Xoom.
Adobe has announced in their blog that Flash 10.2 will be available on the Android Market March 18 for Android 2.2 and 2.3 devices. It will also be available as a beta for Honeycomb (Xoom) as long as the Xoom has received the 3.01 update mentioned above. It will offer hardware acceleration of H.264 video on Honeycomb. Not too much longer, folks!
