New Nook Simple Touch Reader Full Review

Prefer the clarity, portability and battery life of E Ink eReaders but want an easy to use touch screen? Barnes and Noble has the answer with their New Nook. Sure, Sony did it first, but Barnes and Noble has done it for less: the latest Nook has a sharp 6" Pearl E Ink display with IR sensors for touch that don't affect display quality just like recent Sony eBook readers. But the Nook Simple Touch is considerably cheaper at $139, and it has a large and easy to use ebookstore behind it, along with bricks and mortar store support.

The New Nook has WiFi for wireless downloading of books, it supports all manner of ePub with and without DRM as well as PDFs and it's very light and compact. It's one of our favorite readers; read our very detailed review to find out why.
