Star Hammer Tactics Coming to iPad Next Month

Australian based independent developer, Black Lab Games, announced today their highly successful turn-based strategy game Star Hammer Tactics will be available for the Apple iPad. This popular title has previously been released on the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) and PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network. Here is more info on this upcoming iPad game:







The Apple iPad version is scheduled for release in October 2011, and is a literal rewrite of the original game. Featuring an intuitive touch-based interface, crisp and colorful HD graphics, gameplay improvements allowing anyone to pick up and play in minutes, and awesome 3D rendering with new camera angles for combat, Star Hammer Tactics is packed with hours of fun.

Star Hammer Tactics is a futuristic, fast-paced tactical battle game. Players have several options of play: In the single-player campaign mode (with 15 scenarios), players will assume the role of a naval strike group commander as they defend the planet Novus from the marauding alien menace known as the Nautilids. Or, players can compete against a friend in a duel to the death in Hot-Seat (multiplayer) mode. Customize your fleet; compete for glory and bragging rights! Featuring a rule set that is deliberately simple whilst still allowing for maximum strategic depth, Star Hammer Tactics is sure to engage and entertain gamers of all persuasions. Achieve victory by outwitting your opponents, and then blasting them to little pieces!

Star Hammer Tactics for the Apple iPad features Game Center support and will be available in October 2011.
