I thought the IPS HD display would be a must have, but honestly to me, it just doesn't look all that much better than the Skyrocket's Super AMOLED Plus display. Note that I use the free app Screen Adjuster to remove the blue tint from the Skyrocket and I turn off the "auto adjust screen power" feature in display settings on the Skyrocket because it dims screens with light backgrounds (most webpages and eBooks). Out of the box, the LG is more color accurate and doesn't crank down the brightness of light colored screens, so looks better. LG's auto brightness setting isn't as conservative as Samsung's the the GS II line (auto bright it too dim).
