Sony sat out round one of the Ultrabook competition, but they're here for the round two refresh with one of the first Intel Ivy Bridge third gen models. The Sony Vaio T series of Ultrabooks start at a surprisingly affordable $769, yet you get an attractive metal casing, fast CPUs, good speakers and a pleasant display. The Sony Vaio T is available now and you can get it with Core i5 and i7 ULV CPUs, Intel HD 4000 graphics, an MLC flash-assisted conventional hard drive or SSD drives. Is it the perfect Ultrabook? Not quite. Is it pretty darned good? Yep. Read our review for the full details.
