WinTab Drivers Finally Available for Microsoft Surface Pro

Three months later, and we've finally got Wacom WinTab drivers for the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet. Graphics artists, pick up that digital pen and a beer now! Wacom's new downloadable drivers provide pen pressure sensitivity for programs like Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter and PaintTool SAI. Programs that rely on the Windows Ink API like ArtRage the various paint and doodle apps in the Windows Store don't require this new driver.

Those of you who simply use the pen for note taking, diagrams and the like don't need the new Wacom drivers. This is just for graphics folks who use graphics apps that require WinTab for pressure sensitivity.

To get the drivers, visit Wacom's download page here:

Select "Tablet PC" fromt he first pop-up list and Windows 8 from the second pop-up list on that page. Enjoy!
