Does anyone know if those 4 assignable buttons on the left side of the console can be assigned "Right/Left" mouse click values?

I plan on getting the Q1-SSD for myself this Xmas. I want to use it for audio applications, so it's important that I can "turn" a virtual knob on a VSTi synth or drum machine.

I have read that the buttons lose their assignments also, anyone else have this problem?
