Have been reading about how the Palm Vx battery tends to go; I think my Palm is starting to show signs that the battery is going. It's not really taking a charge anymore - for those with experience, how much longer can I expect it to hold out? Would appreciate any suggestions you have... Thanks, -Dan |

LiIon batteries typically start to degrade slowly after about a year of use. My cell phone lasts about 1/2 as long as when I first bought it four years ago. How long LiIon batteries last depends heavily on the heat to which they are exposed--how hot and how long. LiIon hates heat and will deteriorate much more rapidly when left in hot cars, etc. |

Thanks for your advice. My Palm Vx's battery life finally took a dip for the worse; it started to lose half its charge during a day of moterate use...so I thought it was time to upgrade. Just picked up a T3! (Which is pretty cool. However, it seems that if I play with the T3 a lot during the day, then it is very easy to go through half of the battery as well...oh well - I needed the extra memory...) |
