Sony clie PEG SJ33 and memory stick pro 256MB

Does anyone know if the memorystick pro works with sony clie model PEG SJ33? I am having difficulty making my pda recognize the memory stick.

The SJ33 doesn't support MS Pro media. The newer Clies, such as the NX73, NX80, TJs and UX series do.
