Sony Clie NX73V Battery

Is there any way to replace the battery without sending out for service! I called Sony and they want $150 to replace the battery!!! Ugh! I just can't believe it is that complicated. Is this a rip off or what?

Did you get your battery replaced?
I want to replace the battery in my NX80V, and am wondering about how to go about this.
