How do i copy a music cd from my pc to the memory stick? how do you save the files as mp3?

Check out the applications manual that comes on the Clie CD ROM (you can install it on your computer for future reference). It has info on how to do this.
You can use Sonic Stage (Sony's app that comes with the Clie, not so great) or use one of the free apps like Music Match Jukebox which is quite good.
