New OS for 1910

Hi,
Thanks for letting me participate in the forum
I have MS Pocket PS Version 3.0.11171 on my Ipaq 1910. Is there a newer OS that I can run?
I want to use it for recording and playback. Is there a version of Windows Media player that I can use? If not,Is there something similar?
It looks like there is the option to record in Stereo. How can you connect External Microphones to it.

There is no OS upgrade for the iPAQ 1910.
You can record voice notes using the built-in recorder. However the stereo jack can't accept an external mic so you'll need to use the built-in mic.
