CD / DVD Drives

Hi
These seem to be the only models available in India - HP supported.
hw6515e
hx2190
hx2490
rx1950
How come none of these have a CD / DVD drive ? Atleast small enough for a Mini CD/DVD to fit it ?
Arent there PDA's where Mini- CD/DVDs can be inserted ?

I have never seen a PDA with a CD/DVD drive. Most PDAs cannot host external USB devices, and not only would an internal device be too large, but it would use way more power than a PDA could provide for any reasonable amount of time.
The Palm LifeDrive does have a hard disk, though.
