I'm looking for anyone's input on this problem. The plastic locking tab on my SD card has broken off. This has caused the card to be in a locked position so that I can neither read from nor write to the card. Does anyone know how I can make this card function again I'd hate to trash it if there was a fix out there. Thanks.

If you look inside the hole where the locking tab was mounted and can see a part of it remaining inside, then use a pin to move what is left of the slider to the unlock position. If nothing is left to move then I'm afraid it's stuck for good.
