iPAQ surfing without a mobile phone
I've read the articles but I'm afraid I'm still feeling confused. If I want to use my ipaq 2210 to surf the internet through my dial up connection on my desktop pc what kit do I need. Is something like the Belkin access point sufficent, or do I still need more kit?
Thanks

The Belkin access point, like all access points, are really designed for folks with broadband connections (DSL/cable modem). it has an Ethernet port and not a modem RJ45 port. If you have a regular 56k dialup modem connection, you might want to consider a CF dialup modem for the iPAQ as a wired solution, or get a Bluetooth USB dongle for your PC and share that dialup connection over Bluetooth to the iPAQ.
