XV6700 and HP ZD8000 Laptop

I can't get the bluetooth to sync worth a [censored]. Running 4.2 activesync and played with the ports for two hours. It finds the device but the activesync doesn't work. Anyone else using a HP notebook and this phone?

Have you enabled Bluetooth syncing in ActiveSync?
