Bluetooth compatibilty Hyundai Sonata

Anyone know if there is any reason a Sprint Samsung Intercept won't connect with a 2011 Sonata? The phone pairs but only rarely will connect on first attempt after unpairing and pairing. My Blackberry has no problem connecting.
