I'm considering mothballing my PalmVx for the X3i. How long does the battery last and how long does it take to turn on/boot up the unit?

One of the things I love about my palm is the quick access to data/info. I'll turn on/off my palm ~15-20 times a day. It takes 1 second to turn it on, get the info I need and then turn it off. This type of use also helps the battery life dramatically. I really want WiFi and some more robust office tools, but if I need to watch a boot process every time I need info, I might have to re-think my decision.
