Themes in WM2003 SE

I have a question about making themes in Windows Mobile 2003 SE. I've found a few themes I almost like, except for one point. The text in the start menu is often a near-white color on a near-white background. Almost no contrast at all.

I would like to be able to edit those themes to change the text to a black that would provide proper contrast. I tried the theme generator Microsoft has available, but it appears to be rather limited, and unable to actually alter the start menu text color. At least in WM2003SE.

Can anyone give any suggestions on what I might be able to do to make this change, if possible? By preference, if the solution is a piece of software, freeware or shareware choices are desired. It's annoying, but not so annoying that I can't live without those themes.

Thanks,
Luke

Re: Themes in WM2003 SE

go into Modify this image>>> change the transperency and or brightness to a little bit lighter>>> and proceed. When you tap on start the drop down will be lighter than the theme and the text will be visible.is that what you were referring to?

Re: Themes in WM2003 SE

Not quute what I was thinking, but I can try it. Was really hoping to change the text color itself.

Unfortunantly, my system is dual-boot, and I'm on the wrong OS at the moment. Will try it later and let y'all know if it worked.

Thanks,
Luke
