HTC Mogul PPC-6800

I'd like to connect with anyone who is using an HTC Mogul PPC-6800. I'm thinking about buying one from Sprint and have some questions. In particular, I'd like to know if it can be tethered to a laptop for broadband laptop Internet access in locations where regular Sprint cellphone service is available. It won't work in areas where Sprint service isn't available.
