is T3 slider a liability?
|
|
I'm deciding between the Tungsten 3 and Zire 72.
My question is about the T3 slider: does it tend to collect dust, need repair, etc.? I'm a little weary of moving parts, but like the idea of extra screen real estate in a small package.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can post!

So far the Tungsten T, T2 and T3 sliders have been reliable and robust (and not dust collectors).

I've had my T3 since October 1, 2003 (release date) and it still works great. I was a little skeptical at first, but it turns out to be a great way of keeping the device small in my pocket or looking something up quickly. I love having the full 320x480 with the slider open for reading, large spreadsheets, launcher functions, file manager, etc.
