Best Pocket PC for me?
|
|
I'm an insurance inspector and I need a pocket pc to upload data and photos. I need built in wi-fi, and either a built in camera that takes decent pictures or an expansion slot for a camera. GPS capability would be great as well. Long battery life would be great. I don't need any other fancy programs.
I would welcome any ideas at this point as I'm really overwhelmed with info at this point.

The selection of standalone Pocket PCs (and add-on cameras) has really dwindled and most have cell phones built-in. Are you open to those with phones built-in? If so, there's quite a selection to choose from.
If not, the discontinued HP rx3715 with an external Bluetooth GPS is probably the best fit since it has a camera and WiFi. http://www.mobiletechreview.com/iPAQ_rx3715.htm .

As long as there is good call quality, I'm okay with it being a phone as well. Any suggestions?

For one that meets all the requirements you listed, the AT&T Tilt http://www.mobiletechreview.com/phones/ATT-Tilt.htm seems like a good choice.
