Travel, News, Stocks Updates software for smartphones

Hi All,

I struggle when surfing the web on my smart-phone. I think it's probably a problem a lot of people have. I own a Nokia N71 from AT&T. I don't like browsing sites on the phone. I'm looking for a application that provides a one stop portal for my mobile needs.

Specifically entertainment assistance (what movies are on nearby) and travel assistance (I want to be able to track my flight status).

But it would be great if it provided news and financial data updates. What are some of the options in the market?

There's a application that I use on my AT&T Treo 750 called Pocket Express. I think the premium version is currently available for free from the AT&T media mall website.

It's the one stop application that you are talking about and has everything from news, sports, stocks, movie info.

Here's a link to download it from the AT&T media mall:

Anybody else have any experience with Pocket Express?

Hi Sergey,

Thank you for the link. Pocket Express if great! I found the download and installation seamless. It know where I'm located and tell me all the movies playing in the theaters nearby, which I think is going to be an invaluable feature. I can also purchase tickets through my phone. How cool is that!

I haven't traveled yet, but the travel features look extensive. They even have a currency converter on there. Very handy.

Who else is using Pocket Express out there, can you give a newbie like me some tips .

I gotta tell you, today I was glued to my Pocket Express. With the melt down of wall street over the past couple of days, I was watching my portfolio pretty closely. Fortunately I was able to to get out of a lot of things pretty quickly because I had it with me. I generally believe the next couple of weeks are a buying opportunity, especially in financial services.
