Playing video from an Ipod/Itouch on a Samsung TV

I would like to purchase the new Ipod docking station. I am unsure if it would allow me to play my stored videos on a Samsung LN55A650. I have been unable to find a way to make this work.

If your TV has component inputs, you just need something like this.
If your TV only has composite inputs, the corresponding cable would be something like this.
