Lisa, I would you like your comments on these displays...

All other things aside Lisa, from a sharpness perspective, which screen would you say is sharper to look at, or is there really no difference?
Ipad Mini or Sony Xperia Tablet S.
My use case will be mainly ebooks and magazines (Zinio), with some web.
The difference in size of the two devices does not bother me.
I am not interested in an Ipad 2, 3 or 4.

They have similar pixel densities and are equally sharp.

Thank you Lisa. I'd forgotten about comparing the ppi numbers. Keep up the great reviews.
