Last weekend Nokia had a private sale at their flagship stores in NYC and Chicago for those who put their names on the waiting list for an N95. Today Nokia has put the N95 on sale on their NSeries web site for $749 with free 2 day shipping.
This is their GSM S60 3rd Edition smartphone with a 5MP camera and Carl Zeiss autofocus lens. It's unlocked for use on all GSM networks with a quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE radio and WCDMA 2100 MHz 3G (works in Europe only, not the US). The phone also features a cool two-way slider, built-in GPS, VGA video capture, WiFi, Bluetoooth 2.0 +EDR, a very capable music player with dedicated multimeda buttons and a 16 million color QVGA display. This phone has so many features-- be sure to check out our review to learn all about it and see sample photos: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/phones/Nokia-N95.htm. Update April 13: Let's Talk has dropped the price to $649 ($100 below list price) and simply states the N95 is backordered with no ETA. Update April 13, PM: Let's Talk price is back down to the normal list price of $749. No idea why they took $100 off for several hours today. Here's the URL to buy it from Nokia Update April 12th: The N95 buy online option has disappeared from Nokia's site today, but you can go directly to letstalk.com to buy it. It's backordered with an expected ship date of April 19. Here's that URL: http://www.letstalk.com/product/productpop.htm?prId=32576 For those who are interested, letstalk.com handles all of Nokia's online orders in the US for unlocked phones and the phones have a 1 year Nokia warranty.
