Those of you who use Macs and have or are going to purchase a Windows Mobile PDA or phone will be happy to hear that Mark/Space, makers of Mising Sync have an alpha build available for download and plan on releasing the final version in Q3 of this year. This is alpha software which means there will be bugs, so back up your data before syncing. In addition to support for WM6 devices, when version 4.0 of The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile ships in the third quarter, it will also include several new features similar to those just released in version 6.0 of the Palm OS edition, as outlined below. Version 3.0 purchases made on or after June 1, 2007 will qualify for a free upgrade, otherwise upgrades and crossgrades from eligible Missing Sync products will cost only $24.95.
