Mac News: $40,000 For A MacBook Air?

When Apple introduced the MacBook Air, some users balked at the starting price of $1799. However, for those users who weren't fazed by the initial price tag, Bling My Thing is now offering an opportunity to purchase a model of the Air for ?20,000 ($39,750).

Dubbed "Golden Age," the blinged-out MacBook Air features 12,000 Swarovski crystals applied by hand, with a 24k gold coating under each crystal. Because each Golden Age takes a full week to construct, only 20 of them will be made. They are expected to be available at the U.K. retailer Selfridges on March 18.
