Makayama VoiceDial for iPhone is out

Makayama makes some lovely Windows Mobile software and now they're taking the big jump into iPhone development with a much needed application: voice dialing. VoiceDial doesn't require an Internet connection on the phone unlike SpeechDial. VoiceDial has you record voice tags for contacts in your address book. Tap the application to start voice dialing- no screen taps necessary other than tapping the app to start it.

The app sells for $24.99 though the iTunes app store, which is more expensive than most iPhone applications. However, it's a lot cheaper than getting a ticket for breaking the hands-free law or having an accident while driving . We'll give it a test run and post our thoughts on the application later.
