According to a report in a Chinese-language Commercial Times, HTC plans to launch an Internet-enabled high-end feature phone in the fourth quarter of 2009 in order to expand its share in the global handset market. HTC's forthcoming feature phone is likely to base on Qualcomm's BREW Mobile Platform (BREW MP), and come with a wide range of flash applications to enable multimedia services. HTC has dominated Windows Mobile smartphone market in the US with all major carriers offering smartphones made by the company.
