TriGem USA today announced the expansion of its mobile computing line with a new 12-inch Averatec N2700 notebook, featuring a 2GHz Intel dual-core processor, 250GB hard drive, 4GB of memory, Microsoft Vista Home Premium and an 8X super-multi DVD optical drive. The notebook, which is currently shipping, is offered at an MSRP of $699. Here is more info on this new notebook:

"The Averatec N2700 features a super-slim design with a top-performing Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2GHz processor. It has been designed to maximize performance by minimizing pre-installed software bundles of demo programs and trial software, often called "bloatware."

The new Averatec notebook is ideal for professionals, college students and other mobile users who travel or need a very capable computer that is right-sized for either the briefcase or backpack. The notebook comes with 4GB RAM and the 64-bit edition of Windows Vista Home Premium, a higher-performing version of the Microsoft operating system.
